Jewelry Care

A little care helps your jewelry keep its shine. These everyday habits apply to most pieces.

Everyday habits

  • Last on, first off. Put your jewelry on after perfume, lotion, hairspray and makeup, and take it off before your evening routine.
  • Keep it dry. Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, bathing or using a hot tub.
  • Take a break. Remove your pieces before exercise, cleaning, gardening and sleep.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals such as household cleaners and chlorine.

Cleaning

Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth after wearing it. Avoid abrasive cloths, brushes and polishing pastes unless the care instructions for your piece say otherwise.

Storage

Store each piece separately in a dry place, ideally in its pouch or box, to avoid scratches and tangled chains. Fasten chains before storing them.
